Champion the cause of victims of everyday violence.
IJM Australia is committed to building a movement of Australians, united in seeking justice and ending slavery. We’re currently redeveloping our training offering and more information will be available here once details are finalised.
From time to time, we host volunteers at our Sydney office. Volunteering is either centred around an event or involving a minimum 1 day per week commitment to serve with a particular team. Send us an email if you’re interested.
University students may also be able to intern with us for course credit. Please speak with your university or faculty’s internships coordinator before contacting us.
Paid positions at IJM Australia are advertised on our Careers page.
Internships and fellowships with IJM’s field offices are open to graduates from a range of disciplines. These are run through IJM’s Global office and run for 10-12 months. See here for more information, including open internship and fellowship positions.
Running a fundraiser is a practical way in which many IJM supporters are involved in the movement to end slavery. These efforts fund IJM’s rescue, restoration, casework and system transformation. See here to be inspired by some brilliant fundraising ideas and events from IJM Australia supporters.
