David Braga is the Chief Executive Officer of IJM Australia. In this role, he draws on over two decades of executive leadership to advance IJM’s mission to protect people in poverty from violence and exploitation.

David began his career in technology at Bankers Trust Australia and held senior leadership roles at J.P. Morgan. He later became CEO of BNP Paribas Securities Services in Australia and New Zealand, where he led high-performing teams in complex environments. Most recently, he worked in strategic advisory, supporting organisations across the corporate and non-profit sectors.

David brings a passion for building strong cultures, delivering impact, and leading with purpose. He has also served in Board member roles for several Christian organisations, including Olive Tree Media and as chair for CRU. In the past he has chaired the Council of Tara Anglican School for Girls.

David and his wife Karen are active members of St Anne’s Anglican Church in Ryde. They have three adult daughters. He enjoys landscape photography, reading, spending time with friends, and following cricket.
