Laurie-Anne Bentley
Director of Partnerships
Prior to joining IJM, Laurie-Anne served as Chief Development Officer at The Bowery Mission in New York City, leading the Development Team to raise annual operating revenue of $18.5M and participating as a member of the Executive Leadership team. Over her 12-year career at The Bowery Mission, she pioneered new fundraising initiatives and built invaluable donor relationships to support the Mission’s critical work.
Through her leadership, Laurie-Anne built The Bowery Mission’s robust corporate partnerships program from the ground up. The program now engages more than 200 organisations to serve New Yorkers experiencing homelessness and hunger, providing significant financial and gift-in-kind support.
A native of Sydney, Australia, Laurie-Anne previously served as Head of Corporate Development and Events Manager at the Powerhouse Museum. She holds a Master’s in Public Administration from The University of Sydney, a Bachelor of Business (Marketing) from Southern Cross University, and a Certificate in Corporate Social Responsibility from Harvard Business School.
Laurie-Anne enjoys spending time with family and friends. She loves sunrise beach walks and appreciating the beauty of nature, as well as travelling and exploring different cultures, dining out and visiting museums around the world.
