Madeleine joined IJM Australia in 2021 with a passion to connect Australians with bringing justice to vulnerable communities worldwide.

Serving previously as a lawyer and working in the court system, Madeleine is eager to see justice systems strengthened globally, specifically to protect communities at risk of violence and exploitation, and to move towards a reality where everyone has access to justice and protection.

Madeleine loves sharing with supporters about the impact of their giving and highlighting stories of empowered survivors. A natural connector, Madeleine enjoys sharing IJM’s vision to protect people in poverty from violence with Aussies across the country.

Madeleine is married to Julian and enjoys living in the inner city of Sydney. She attends a local church, sings in a community choir, loves snorkeling and cakes, and can't wait for her next overseas trip.
