
Rebecca Nedelko
Director, International Programs and Grants
Rebecca Nedelko is the Director of International Programs and Grants at IJM Australia. In this role, she provides strategic leadership and oversight for IJM Australia's international program portfolio, ensuring that initiatives are locally-driven, have sustainable impact and align with the organisation's mission to protect vulnerable people from violence and exploitation.
She is an international development practitioner, having lived and worked extensively across the Asia-Pacific with the UN Development Program, the International Organization for Migration, international NGOs, and government bodies. Rebecca’s expertise spans program management and policy advocacy across areas of human rights, labour migration, child protection, social policy, health security and governance.
Rebecca holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations (Bond University/Obirin Daigaku), a Master’s degree in International Development Practice (The University of Queensland), and a Postgraduate Certificate in International Law, Human Rights and Climate Change (UN University for Peace).
Outside of work, Rebecca enjoys travelling and exploring the outdoors with her husband, daughter, and son. She’s also an avid podcast listener, especially those that delve into international affairs, human rights, and inspiring stories of resilience and hope.
